As a central backbone energy company, National Energy Group must accurately judge environmental changes at home and abroad, understand the important position of state-owned energy companies in the new era from a strategic perspective, resolutely implement the “four revolutions, one cooperation” new energy security strategy, and do a good job in safeguarding the country The “stabilizers” and “ballast stones” of energy supply security bear the responsibility of energy security supply, protection of economic and social development, energy price and stable supply, sustainable development of the energy industry, and technological innovation in the energy industry.

Liu Guoyue said that the National Energy Group will further improve its political position, adhere to its main responsibilities and main businesses, and take proactive actions to vigorously promote the development of the group company’s clean energy, clean fossil energy, and intelligent energy industry. Adhere to the system concept, accurately grasp the country’s major strategic arrangements and phased goals, actively follow the historical process and development law of energy reform, accelerate the low-carbon transformation of enterprises, and achieve the carbon peak goal and carbon neutral vision.

During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, the group company will continue to increase the development of renewable energy. It is estimated that the new installed capacity of renewable energy will reach 70-80 million kilowatts. Vigorously promote the construction of “National Energy Group Ecological Forest”, plan to add more than 100,000 acres of afforestation, and coordinate the development of mining area ecology and carbon sink emission reduction. Actively explore feasible advanced technologies for low-carbon reduction of fossil energy, steadily promote the efficiency improvement of the entire industry chain, energy saving and emission reduction, energy-electrification, and accelerate the zero-carbon emission of terminal energy. Take multiple measures to help build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and take the lead in leading the low-carbon transformation and development of coal-based integrated energy companies.

Previously, in the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Photovoltaic Power Generation Industry of the National Energy Group”, the National Energy Group plans to add 25-30 million kilowatts of photovoltaic installed capacity from 2020 to 2025, and focus on increasing the proportion of installed capacity in economically developed regions.
